This is for puppies from 3 - 6 months old that are at least mid-way through their vaccinations and otherwise healthy.
This is very similar to puppy class without the organized structure. Puppy Night is merely designed to allow for the ever important "Early Socialization" of your puppy to other puppies of similar age as well as other people. Harley Boy is also present to assist in teaching doggie manners and correct canine social behavior. I'm available to keep things under control and to give advice on raising your puppy.
This is a very informal event in a very informal environment. If the weather allows, we let the puppies play in the drive and if not, we go into the garage where there's heat. Now that we've extended Puppy Night into the spring and hopefully into the summer, we'll be gathering in the back yard where we have access to multiple pieces of agility equipment to provide additional exercise and begin working through simple leadership exercises and relationship exercises. I will get you started on basic obedience commands and constantly caution you against trying to push your puppies training too soon.

Puppy Kindergarten & Management Training
Four to six private &/or semi-private sessions include the following:
Correct acclimation to new surroundings w/ safe, calm, mature, vaccinated dog(s).
Correct socialization of new surroundings, people & other canines as well as interaction w/ safe, calm, mature, vaccinated dog(s).
An initial introduction to obedience training, house breaking, introducing pup to other household pets. This is for puppies from 3 - 6 months of age that have had at least two rounds of vaccinations and are in good health

Basic Obedience
Basic obedience is for the dog and owner that are not looking for anything other that the five basic commands that all dogs and their owners should master in as informal of a setting as possible. As part of learning to properly execute the commands you'll also be exposed to insights into how your dog sees the world around him and how to eliminate existing bad habits as well as keep other bad habits from forming.

Obedience Level 1, 2 & 3 are intended to be utilized as a package deal or at the very least, as three consecutive phases following closely to one another. The session time and number vary slightly since, as a package deal, many of the listed behaviors are taught at the same time and not necessarily in the listed order. The speed and order that the different commands are introduced depends entirely on my evaluation of you and your dog so as to give you & your dog the most through training possible without overloading either one of you. The best learning environment is a quick one but not so fast as to cause confusion.

Group Classes
Group classes are currently only available by special scheduling. We specialize primarily in private &/or semi-private training sessions as this provides the best overall training environment w/ the best & fastest overall results. If you are part of a group or organization that wants to participate together or have several friends, neighbors or associates and want to organize group training sessions, we will be more that happy to try and accommodate you. Also, if you would like to on a waiting list for the next available group session, please let us know.
Group classes of six or more are lower cost than private sessions but also limit my time per client and are not available for aggression control or behavior management.
